Major Street Plan: The Rapid City area major street plan is a 20 year plan for the roads in the metropolitan area. It is an official document that is approved by the Rapid City Council. This map is prepared for printing at a 17" x 11" size.
Truck and delivery routes: Routes to be used by large trucks for transiting and making deliveries in the Rapid City area, from the Rapid City Engineering Division. This map is prepared for printing at a 17" x 11" size.
Data grid maps
Rapid City area data grid: Map showing the locations and file names for Rapid City area digital orthophotos, elevation contours, and hydrography. This map is prepared for printing at an 11" x 17" size.
Pennington County area data grid: Map showing the locations and file names for Pennington County area digital orthophotos, elevation contours, hydrography, and scanned USGS maps. All data shown by this grid are from the USGS. This map is prepared for printing at an 11" x 17" size.
Miscellaneous maps
Rapid City downtown parking map: Map showing public parking available in the downtown area. This map is prepared for printing at an 11" x 8.5" size.
FEMA Q3 flood map: Map showing the flood zones and FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) numbers for Pennington County. Included on the map is a 250 foot buffer around the 500 year flood zone. Zone determinations within this buffer (including the 100 and 500 year flood zones) must be made using the official FIRMs available for review at the City Engineering Division office. Note that street locations within the map are not guaranteed to be accurate with respect to the flood zones. This map is prepared for printing at a 48" x 36" size.
